Sustainable IT maintenance is more than just technical support – it is a decisive contribution to climate protection. We are aware that the manufacture of IT equipment causes significant CO2 emissions. That’s why we focus on extending the service life of data centre hardware through our third-party maintenance services in order to act not only ecologically but also economically sensibly.
Why is this important? Extending the useful life of existing devices reduces the need for new hardware purchases. This is not only an environmentally friendly practice, but also an effective way to improve the carbon footprint. We offer comprehensive support and maintenance services, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and technical support.
Our experienced technicians have expertise across multiple manufacturers. With fast response times and flexible service agreements, we minimise downtime and disruption to your business. We focus on reducing e-waste by extending the life of your IT hardware and reusing old equipment. This helps to conserve resources and improve the carbon footprint.
In the context of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), extending the lifespan of IT hardware already fulfils some of the requirements. Avoidance of electronic waste, CO2 reduction and resource efficiency are some examples of this. It is important to note that CSRD compliance is a holistic process that encompasses various aspects of sustainability. However, the choice of third-party maintenance can contribute to addressing certain environmental aspects within the scope of this directive.

K&P Computer was founded in 1985 as a hardware maintenance company for IBM machines. Today, the IT system house with its three business divisions IT Maintenance, IT Projects and Managed Services is a full-service provider for more than 3,500 companies in all industries.

Many of our customers are internationally positioned and provide our manufacturer-independent maintenance service also outside the DACH region in our experienced hands. The international K&P Multivendor Service is available to you 24/7, as in the DACH region. The support services can be called up both as on-site and remote service.
In order to meet our customer and user needs everywhere and at any time, we are represented nationwide. We also have the Austrian K&P Computer headquarters in Vienna, a branch in Linz and a technical base in Graz. Since 2022 also a site in Amsterdam.
