The manufacturer’s specifications, which regulate the procurement of current firmware and microcode resources for systems in the data center, have changed drastically in recent years. In order to obtain current firmware and microcode resources “legally” or “compliantly”, the manufacturers require a valid warranty or a hardware maintenance contract with the manufacturer.
K&P Computer advises you before the start of the contract which systems are technically sensible for such a reinsurance with the manufacturer and mediates these contracts as Single-Point-of-Contact. This also applies to software maintenance contracts.
