The KPCguard® tool, specially programmed for AIX systems, enables permanent monitoring of your servers. The tool reads the error log of your machine and only becomes active in the event of an event. Thus you save CPU resources and are always well informed about the status of your systems.
This tool, specially developed for the System i product family, enables monitoring of the entire hardware. Any errors that occur are sent via a connected modem or, if the infrastructure permits, as e-mail.
KPC JobGuard is a monitoring tool that “monitors” the MSGQs and/or jobs. The resulting messages (MSGs) are filtered according to predefined rules and then sent to an e-mail recipient.
