Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company and our services.

The protection of your personal data during processing throughout the entire business process is an important concern for us. Compliance with the German and European data protection regulations enjoys the highest priority at K&P Computer. Therefore, we inform you on this page which data we collect from you, what we need this data for and which user rights you have.

We are aware of how important it is to you that your personal data is handled carefully and we would like to explain to you transparently if and when personal data is collected and processed. All data collection and processing is carried out for specific purposes. The legal basis is Art 6, para. 1 GDPR: legitimate interest of the responsible entity, pre-contractual and contractual measures. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose for which it was collected. Your data must also be deleted if the storage is inadmissible. Blocking takes the place of deletion if legal or factual obstacles, for example special retention obligations due to commercial and tax law requirements, prevent deletion.

Processing of personal data

For technical reasons, certain data must be collected and stored when you call up our website. We use this data for the purpose of technical administration of the website, to fulfill your wishes and requirements and for internal analysis and market research purposes.

Each of your accesses is stored in a log file with the following data:

  • Name of the page accessed
  • date and time of access
  • amount of data transferred
  • Message whether the retrieval was successful
  • IP address
  • Operating system and operating system version
  • Browser type and version

The data is stored in a secure operating environment on our own servers, which are not accessible to the public. Your personal data will be kept strictly confidential and deleted after 30 days at the latest.

All data you send to or download from www.kpc.de is transmitted over a secure https connection. However, if you contact us by e-mail, the confidentiality of the transmitted information is not guaranteed during transmission. Therefore, we recommend that you send confidential information only by letter.

Your personal data will not be passed on, sold or otherwise transferred to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract or you have given your express consent (e.g. by setting cookies).

On individual pages, we require further personal data in order to provide our services or to be able to carry out the contractual relationship concluded with you.

The following data is required for registration and login to our customer center.

  • Your service contract number (customer number)
  • Salutation, first name, last name
  • E-mail address
  • Password

The data entered in the registration mask regarding service contract number, title, first name, last name are required to verify legitimacy and are deleted immediately afterwards.

The e-mail address and password entered in the login mask are required to log in to the Customer Center and are stored in a secure operating environment on our own servers. When access to the customer center is deleted, this access data is also deleted.

The provision of your personal data is mandatory for registration and login to the Customer Center. If you do not provide your personal data, no access authorization will be set up or existing access will be deleted.


The following data is required to report a fault without registering at our customer centre:

  • Service contract number (customer number)
  • Your e-mail address
  • First name, last name
  • Telephone number

  • On-site contact (title, first name, surname)
  • Telephone number, local contact
  • E-mail address, on-site contact


Your customer number and e-mail address are required for verification of legitimacy.


The personal data entered in the mask is required for processing the fault report and is stored in a secure operating environment on our own servers. This data is deleted after the legal storage periods have expired.


The provision of the personal data is absolutely necessary for the verification of the legitimacy and for the processing of the fault report. If your personal data is not provided, it will not be possible to process the fault report.


The following data is required for event registrations:

  • Salutation, first name, last name
  • Company / Organization
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number

All other information about yourself and the company / organization is voluntary.

The data is required for the organization of the event (confirmation of participation, invitation, event information). Your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected. If you do not provide your personal data, registration and participation in the event will not be possible.

User rights

They have the right to data portability, information, correction, deletion and restriction of processing of their personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. Depending on the settings made when cookies are stored, your personal data may be transferred to third parties.
