K&P Computer grows in 2017 in all divisions

Wiesbaden, February 22, 2018 +++ The Wiesbaden-based IT system house K&P Computer Service- und Vertriebs-GmbH can look back on a successful fiscal year 2017. The turnover in all three business areas IT Maintenance, IT Projects and Managed Services has increased and at 29.9 million Euro is 19 percent above the previous year.

Sustainable growth
Karl-Peter Münkel, Managing Director of K&P Computer, expressed his satisfaction: “We have constantly invested in sustainable company growth, and our success proves us right. A stable core business, combined with a forward-looking portfolio strategy and highly motivated employees, are reliable growth drivers”.

Distinct feeling for the market
The IT service provider achieved positive results above all in its core business area of IT maintenance and in the emerging Managed Services division, which grew by more than 19 percent. In this very agile business area, the pronounced feeling for the market as well as a large number of competent and creative employees ensure the ongoing development of the portfolio, which since autumn 2017 has featured two further service innovations with a cloud backup solution for x86 environments and the new product “KPC Cloud Backup for IBM i + AIX”. The secure outsourcing of data to the in-house K&P data center in Wiesbaden is particularly attractive for the customers.

New training offer
In September 2017 the “K&P Tech Academy” was founded. The focus of the manufacturer-neutral training program is on technical knowledge transfer. The spectrum ranges from teaching central basics to current IT trend topics. The academy is part of a wide range of events. For many years, the IT system house has offered year-round networking opportunities within the framework of partner and customer events.

Well-equipped for the future
Karl-Peter Münkel also sees the company on the right track for the coming years: “Digital transformation is a decisive success factor for us.
