IT dismantling, data erasure and sustainable reuse
K&P takes care of the complete dismantling of your IT infrastructure – professionally, securely and fully documented. Whether servers, racks, storage systems, network equipment or complex cable infrastructure: our experienced and trained technical teams ensure smooth and professional dismantling – even during ongoing operations or outside regular business hours if required, so as not to disrupt your internal processes. The dismantled components are always handed over in a structured manner, the logistics are clearly organized and, of course, insured.
A central element of our ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) services is the reliable and legally compliant deletion of data or – if necessary – the physical destruction of data carriers. K&P works strictly in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR, ISO 27001, BSI basic protection and the NIS2 guideline. We offer different procedures depending on the desired security level: Physical destruction is carried out using certified shredding methods in accordance with protection class E4/H4 or E5/H5. Alternatively, software-based data erasure is used, for example in accordance with the DoD 5220.22-M standard with sevenfold overwriting – ideal for leased returns or devices that are to be reused. Both methods are fully documented, auditable and can also be carried out directly on site (on-site service) if required.
However, not all hardware that has been taken out of service has to be disposed of. Older devices often still have economic and technical potential. That’s why K&P consistently focuses on sustainable IT use: as part of our refurbishment offer, we thoroughly check, clean and test obsolete components. We then offer you refurbished hardware with tested quality, high availability and short delivery times – either for further internal use or for external remarketing.
