IT recycling & certified disposal
K&P takes care of the professional disposal of your decommissioned IT systems – in accordance with the WEEE Directive, GDPR and ISO standards. Whether old devices, peripherals or complete infrastructures: we ensure safe return and responsible recycling.
Data erasure before disposal - certified and traceable
Before old IT equipment is disposed of or recycled, one thing is paramount: complete and secure data erasure. K&P relies on the certified KPC Secure process, which meets the requirements of the GDPR, BSI baseline protection and international standards such as ISO 27001.
Depending on the security level and device type, erasure is software-based by multiple overwriting (e.g. DoD 5220.22-M), physically by shredding in accordance with DIN 66399 or magnetically by degausser. Whether on your premises or in our certified process center – every erasure is documented with a serial number, time stamp and recycling approval.
This step is not optional, but legally required: Devices may only be used, recycled or returned after successful data destruction. KPC Secure ensures that you have audit-proof evidence in hand at all times – whether for internal checks or external audits.
