What is service reporting?
Service reporting refers to the regular recording, processing and evaluation of key performance indicators in IT service operations. These include SLA fulfillment, incident figures, availability and response times.

Service reporting is used to make service quality visible and enable well-founded decisions. It creates transparency for customers and internal stakeholders. Risks exist in a pure focus on key figures without context. Added value is created through continuous service improvement, early identification of weak points and a reliable basis for contract and optimization decisions.
