Quantum Computing

What is quantum computing?

Quantum Computing is a revolutionary technology based on the principles of quantum mechanics based. In contrast to conventional computers, which store information in bits (0 or 1), quantum computers use qubitswhich can represent 0 and 1 at the same time. This means they can complex problems much faster than conventional computers.

Advantages and applications

Quantum computing has the potential to transform areas such as cryptography, materials research, artificial intelligence and optimization problems revolutionize the way we work. For example, quantum computers can calculate solutions in seconds that would take conventional computers years. Although the technology is still in its infancy, companies such as IBM, Google and Microsoft are investing heavily in the development of quantum computers in order to fully exploit their potential.
