Middleware
What is middleware?
middleware is a software layerthat acts as an intermediary between applications, databases and operating systems functions. It enables the Integration systems and ensures that they can communicate seamlessly with each other. Middleware offers services such as data transmission, user authentication and message switchingwithout developers having to implement these functions individually for each application.
Advantages and areas of application
Middleware simplifies system integration and improves the scalability and reliability of IT architectures. It is used in areas such as E-Commerce, financial services and telecommunications used to support complex applications. Examples of middleware technologies are Apache Kafka for data processing and IBM WebSphere for the integration of business applications.
