K&P Computer starts the 2017 financial year with a tailwind

Wiesbaden, February 23, 2017 +++ Wiesbaden-based IT system house K&P Computer Service- und Vertriebs-GmbH is continuing its dynamic growth trajectory. With its three business divisions IT Maintenance, IT Projects and Managed Services, the Wiesbaden-based company achieved a turnover of 25 million euros in 2016. “2016 was another excellent financial year for K&P Computer. By expanding our service portfolio, particularly in the area of managed services, as well as strategically expanding our IT partner network and strengthening our existing manufacturer partnerships, we succeeded in exceeding our sales expectations again this year. Our thanks go above all to our highly motivated and qualified employees,” says Karl-Peter Münkel, Managing Director of K&P Computer, expressing his satisfaction. Another highlight of the 2016 financial year was the strong growth in the IT services business. The pleasing turnover from 2015 was increased by a further 10%. Traditional maintenance revenue also rose by 5%. IT operations support has been a key growth driver for several years. The number of new customers for whom K&P Computer provides full support for
IT systems increased again in 2016. The first K&P Partner Day was held at the Wiesbaden headquarters in 2016 under the motto “Growing and succeeding together”. The event serves as a networking platform for tapping into new potential and will be continued in 2017 due to the great response. Karl-Peter Münkel is optimistic about the future: “We are also expecting an increase in sales next year: in addition to the customer-oriented expansion of the service portfolio through new partnerships, the main factors in our growth strategy are the focus on services in the areas of license management (KPC SAM), cybercrime (ransomware) and managed services, including backup solutions and outsourcing. This also includes the certification of our Wiesbaden data center planned for 2017. Key steps that will open up further opportunities for us and, above all, our customers.”
