K&P Computer grows in all business areas in 2017

Wiesbaden, February 22, 2018 +++ Wiesbaden-based IT system house K&P Computer Service- und Vertriebs-GmbH can look back on a successful 2017 financial year. Turnover increased in all three business areas of IT maintenance, IT projects and managed services and, at 29.9 million euros, was 19 percent up on the previous year. Sustainable growth
Karl-Peter Münkel, Managing Director of K&P Computer, expresses his satisfaction: “We have constantly invested in sustainable company growth, and our success proves us right. A stable core business, combined with a forward-looking portfolio strategy and highly motivated employees, are reliable growth drivers.” Strong market intuition
The IT service provider achieved positive results above all in its core business area of IT maintenance and in the emerging Managed Services division, which grew by over 19%. In this very agile business area, a keen sense of the market and a large number of competent and creative employees ensure the ongoing development of the portfolio, which has featured two further service innovations since fall 2017 with a cloud backup solution for x86 environments and the new product “KPC Cloud Backup for IBM i + AIX”. The secure outsourcing of data to the in-house K&P data center in Wiesbaden is particularly attractive for customers. New training offering
The “K&P Tech Academy” was launched in September 2017. The focus of the vendor-neutral training offering is on the transfer of technical knowledge. The spectrum ranges from teaching key basics to current IT trend topics. The academy is part of a broad range of events. The IT system house has been offering networking opportunities at partner and customer events throughout the year for many years. Ideally equipped for the future
Karl-Peter Münkel also believes the company is well on track for the coming years: “Digital transformation is a key success factor for us.
