Dirt Away Day 2024 – K&P Computer sets a successful example for environmental protection
The Erbenheimer Anzeiger reports on the second dirt track day in the industrial area
Wiesbaden, 09.02.2024+++ For the second time in a row, the employees of global IT service provider K&P Computer Service- und Vertriebs GmbH have successfully organized a dirt collection day in the industrial area in Delkenheim. Last Saturday, almost 20 employees and their children were actively involved in collecting garbage.
The city of Wiesbaden provided gloves and garbage bags, and the joint result was impressive: a total of 38 kilograms of garbage was collected from the surrounding area. The campaign ended with a well-earned lunch to fortify the hard-working helpers. In addition to the outstanding team spirit that was evident on this occasion, K&P Computer’s commitment to environmental protection is commendable. The dirt removal day is not the only initiative of its kind. Last year, company employees planted a large flower meadow on the company premises to provide a habitat for bees and set up a feeding station for birds. The new pool trolley, which is used regionally every day, is also an electric vehicle. The company is looking forward to continuing to make a positive contribution to improving the local environment in the future.
K&P hopes that its exemplary commitment will inspire other companies and encourage them to launch similar environmentally friendly initiatives.
